Together Again

Hello! I'm back in Spain on holidays and that means me and my dog are together again! So this's how I've been spending the time lately..

Back to Spain!

Hi there! I'm going back to Spain next thursday, I can't wait to see my dog!! and all my pets, and my family too... xD I will be there on Holiday for a month and then come back to Portsmouth and keep working.. But the important thing is: I'm on holiday now and I'm going back very soon!!


Also because of that, I think I won't be able to submit anything more until Friday, but I'll keep drawing everyday! It's just that tomorrow I'm going to Bath for the day and guess what.. I'm going to be very tired.. and then on thursday I'll be travelling by car, by plane, by car again... all day and I will spend the rest of the day with my dog anyway so no computers.. xD

So I wish you all good holidays! whether if you are on holiday already or you're going to have them soon!

Time for bookmarks

Hello! Yesterday I spend the day out with my camera and then when I get home it had no battery so I wasn't able to submit anything... but today it let me take some pictures before it went off again! (I need to buy new batteries..)

So here I bring some bookmarks I've been doing:

 I started to do this black and white kind of bookmark time ago with most of my characters and today was the turn of, from top to bottom, Nigel, Cassio and Ramses.

And this one is another of the same style but just the faces. Left to Right: Athens, Oreus, Ithaca, Delos and Pompeii.

The next two aren't finished, but I won't be able to finish them until I get back to Spain, I'm going in a few days for my holidays!!

Anyway here they are, one more with my creatures/monsters but this time no just the faces, and the other, a very different one, with Willy and his son Robert!

That was all for today, I love to make bookmarks.. If you like reading and drawing you have to try making some, it's very fun!

Hello! Those are sketches of more animals I saw when I went to the zoo, Capybara, Giraffe, and Congo Buffalo.. very fast post and very bad quality but I'm really tired today!

Who wears short shorts

 

Finally I bought some shorts! xD I only brought long trousers from Spain.. I thought I won't need shorts in England, but it's hot here! Nothing compared with the heat I will have when I get back I'm afraid..

A day at the races

Hello! I'm introducing today Fabrizio (at the wheel) and Federico (the one who is having a great time!) yes, I never draw cars but I was just having fun drawing them and I love old racing cars.. Also, they are supposed to have wings both... but... they just don't have them this time. xD

I used pencil colours for this one.

Mis Bichejos

Yes the tittle is in Spanish today.. I can't translate that.. something like my little creatures, monsters, bugs.. Anyway let me present you my lovely thingies:

 From top to bottom: Oreus, Ithaca, Delos, Athens and Pompeii. This is just the sketch but I really want to color it, and I will.. only it's too late today and I didn't post anything so here is the drawing for today.. I'm off now!

Why was I so tired last Sunday to post anything? Because I went to the zoo!! I went to Marwell Zoo, now I want to draw all the animals I saw there, not all in watercolours but at least a quick sketch.. So I'll try and do it, and the first one is: The penguin!

Finally today I'm going to talk about the blog so you can know more about this new nook I'm creating, and here I go:

·Why did I create this blog?
Because it's a way to encourage me to do something everyday and also a way to start showing my work and meet new people! I'm not very fond of all those modern social networks.. I never use them.. so I thought a blog would suit me better.

One more thing, I really love web design, so I'm very happy making banners, backgrounds, and all kind of things for the blog!

·Why Warning! Sharks Around?
Why that name? because I just love sharks, they remember me to the beach, the water, the holidays.. they are lovely! And if there is an item that represent me, it is my shark plushie, Kerike, that I have from Ikea since many years ago.. in fact he's the logo of the blog...

So what could be better than fill the blog with sharks?

·What tools do I use?
I'm currently living away from home, so that's been a chance to "start again", here I just have a A-5 sketchbook, my pencil, my eraser and now my new watercolours! So I'm now practising traditional art.

Also what I have here is my camera so the pictures I post here are all photos from my sketchbook.

·What more things am I going to post in the blog?
I love doing crafts, visiting new places, music, films, books... and as I'm working as aupair I'm doing a lot of thing with the kids like read lots of books so now that I have the blog I can share all those things with you!

Also with my drawings I want to start to show about my original characters and tell a bit about them!
